Founder of Horse Adoption Ranch Will Be In Albuquerque To Promote Her Book: NMHA-NMRC Meetings in May

Lynn Reardon, an acclaimed writer and Executive Director of a race horse adoption ranch located in Texas (LOPE)  will be at the Borders bookstore in Albuquerque (6600 Menaul, Blvd, NE) on Saturday, May 15,  at 1:00 PM to promote her recent book, "Beyond the Homestretch: What I Learned From Saving Racehorses".  Ms. Reardon's work is supported by the Texas Horsemen's Partnership among others.  For more information go to http://www.beyondthehomestretch.com/spring-book-tour/

NMHA Board of Directors will meet on Tuesday, May 18, 2010 for its regular montly meeting.  An agenda will be published shortly.  The meeting will take place at the NMHA state board office at 217 Palomas, NE, Albuquerque.  Call 505.266.7056 for more information. All Horsemen are invited and strongly encouraged to attend the NMHA and NMRC meetings.


The New Mexico Racing Commission will meet in public session commencing at 10:30 AM, Wednesday, May 19 at its offices at 4900 Alameda, NE, Albuquerque, NM.  No agenda is available presently.   Call  505.22.0700 and ask for Dinise for more infomation.
