Note for Horsemen:

Effective immediately each horse entering Sunray Park must have in addition to a current negative coggins report,  either  1) a  negative piroplasmosis test  taken within the last 12 months, or 2) a receipt from a vet stating that the blood has been drawn for the test and that results are pending or 3)  have the horse’s blood drawn by their vet for the test  within 24 hours of arrival at Sunray Park. This is pursuant order of the State’s Livestock Board. Contact your vet to have the work done.

Please make sure that when you turn in your papers at Sunray, that the paperwork is complete with the original of the foal certificate and   a copy of a current (last 12 months) negative coggins report and the aforementioned piroplasmosis test information attached. If you need any copies made, contact the Horsemen’s office at Sunland Park, the main office at Albuquerque or the Horsemen’s office at Sunray Park and we will be happy to make copies for you.
