NM Racing Commission Meeting
All Horsemen are invited to attend the NM Racing Commission Meeting August 19th at the Leo Griego Auditorium-State Personell Building, 2600 Cerillos Road, in Sante Fe.
Executive Session will begin at 10:00 am
Public Session will begins at 11:00 am
This meeting is very important as race dates will be discussed.

Why don,t you have the meetings where the majority of the owners and trainers are? It looks as though you don,t want us involved!

Ms. Vick,
I am sorry that you feel as you do. The reality is that our Horsemen's State Board conducts its meetings at the communities where racing is taking place each calender year. These meetings are open to all Horsemen who wish to attend and are publicized on the web, on the track's overnight, and by postings. In addition, the schedule for meetings is published in our newsletter that generally goes out about every quarter. The next newsletter is scheduled to go out August 25th.
There are also several general Horsemen's meetings that are held at live tracks during each meet. Moreover, our Horsemen's main office in Albuquerque is open Monday to Friday to answer any questions or assist with any needs. The office at the racetrack which is live is open on race days to help Horsemen as well.
Finally, we have an annual meeting at Sunland Park in February of each year which coincides with our awards banquet. Every Horsemen is welcome and encouraged to attend.
