Our condolences to the friends and family of the late track announcer Luke Kruytbosch, who passed away Monday July 16th at the age of forty five. Mr. Kruytbosch, who called races at Sunland Park in the 1990s, was the announcer at Churchill downs for the past ten Kentucky Derbies. Mr. Kruytbosch was considered by many to be one of the finest thoroughbred callers in the nation. He is survived by his father and sister. (Bloodhorse.com)
