A few weeks ago, there were some doubts as to the condition of Santa Fe downs, which was reopened after several years to accommodate the horsemen while The National Junior Arabian Show and the National Junior Rodeo took place at the Albuquerque fairgrounds. These doubts have been proved unfounded, as the horsemen report to be pleased with the Santa Fe facility, its barns and track. The track was tested and is in excellent condition, and the barns are in good repair. The Santa Fe track will be in use until the National Arabian show is completed at the beginning of August. We thank all the horsemen for their positive attitude and flexibility!
