On Wednesday, July 9, 2008 the NMRC dates committee recommended the following number of race days to run per track in 2009 (The race calendar and final number of race days for 2009 will be decided in an upcoming meeting of the NMRC. The race days listed below is the recommendation of the race dates committee of the NMRC and is NOT the final word.) :

Downs at Albuquerque 53 To run from August to late November 2009

Sunland Park 77 To run from mid-late December 2009 to late April 2010

Ruidoso Downs 63 To run from Memorial Day to Labor Day 2009

NMSF 17 To run in September 2009 during State Fair

SRP 44 To run from mid April to end of June 2009

ZIA Park 62 To run September to December 2009
